Rev Gill

Meet Reverend Randall Gill

Randall is the past Moderator of the Presbytery of Tropical Florida and pastor Emeritus of the First Presbyterian Church in Boynton Beach.  He retired in March after serving this congregation for twenty-five years. In the past he has also served on the Board of Visitors for Presbyterian College and the Parent’s Council for Texas Christian University.  He presently serves on the Presbytery’s Committee on Ministry.  Randy is a graduate of the University of Maryland and Princeton Theological Seminary.

He enjoys Florida history and alongside city archivist, Janet Devries, he co-authored a popular history book entitled Images of America: Boynton Beach, which captures the spirit of the city and the importance of faith to the early pioneers.  All royalties go to support the Schoolhouse Children’s Museum and Learning Center.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors, for the Boynton Beach Historical Society.

Randy is married to his wife Ann, who is an educational therapist and Director of the NILD Discovery Center at The King’s Academy in West Palm Beach.  Their daughter Laura is a recent graduate of TCU.  She is a dancer and choreographer with The Dancer’s Space in West Palm Beach.  In April Laura performed in the premiere of Ballet’s Child at the Duncan Theatre at Palm Beach State College.  Currently she is preparing for the musical A Chorus Line at the Crest Theatre in Delray Beach.

Randy has provided leadership to help re-develop three congregations in the past.  He is looking forward to working with our church as we move forward together serving the Lord.
