COMMUNITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF DEERFIELD BEACH
KICKS OFF SATURDAYS AT SIX WEEKLY SERVICE
Community Presbyterian Church initiated a Saturdays at Six service over Labor Day Weekend. This casual, contemporary service in Briggs Hall becomes the third service available weekly at the Steeple on the Beach, with Sunday services including an informal 8:30 a.m. service in Fox Chapel, and a traditional service at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. All Deerfield Beach Island residents, visitors, friends, and neighbors are warmly invited to all services.
The first Saturdays at Six service was highlighted by a most historic event as the Cross on the roof of Briggs Hall was re-dedicated after a long absence due to hurricane damage. Deerfield Beach dignitaries were on hand to celebrate this momentous occasion, including The Honorable Mayor Peggy Noland; The Honorable Commissioner Joe Miller; and The Executive Director of the Historical Society, Carolyn Morris.
