Music In The House of the Lord!

“They were all under the direction of their father in the music in the House of the LORD”
(1 Chronicles 25:6)

Peggy Everett, our violinist in the 8:30 a.m. service, and also Director of Fiddleworks Inc., has announced a newly formed musical relationship between Fiddleworks, the Steeple on the Beach, and Maria’s House Montessori School!

The goal in the coming months is to create a youth Music Ministry with a beginner’s violin strings program and a Christian church children’s youth choir!  Children from Maria’s House Montessori School will be participating as part of these new programs!!!

Please, if you have family or friends with young children, invite them to become part of this new music family!!  Children need no prior musical, instrumental, or choir experience. In the fall, it is Peggy’s intention to have the children use their musical talents to add to our Sunday worship services!!!

Coming up, a series of concerts, sponsored by Fiddleworks Inc., will be hosted at Community Presbyterian Church.  On Saturday, November 12 we will honor our service men and women at our annual Veteran’s Day Concert.  On Saturday, December 10, we will celebrate the Joy of Christmas with the presentation of a “Keili Kids Christmas.”  These concerts are free and open to the community. Prayers are welcomed as we seek God’s guidance in bringing Music into the House of the Lord!
